Window balance break

Your balance shoe is was discontinued some time ago. The good news is, our 15-177 will work well to replace it. While it has a different shape, the dimensions should be the same.

The compatible coil balance spring is the Series 152 balance. The 33-072 screw is used to attach them to the shoe. You'll need to look for a stamp/marking on the existing coil to determine the correct ones for your assemblies.

If there are none, please see the tutorial (tagged below) for instructions on selecting the coil weight option. We use a different assembly in the video but the process is the same.

The 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel are used to create the coil support. You'll need all three pieces.
