Window balance for hurricane window

Home Owner from Fort Lauderdale, FL
When I opened my window, the window balance came apart. The window balance on the other side remains intact, but I didn't remove.

The length of the balance is 30 inches and width is 1/2 inch.

The balance is labeled "29HD-45"

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 7/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the metal channel should measure 29-7/8" long, not 30". Custom orders are nonrefundable so you may want to double-check to be safe.

In order to get this moving for you I will need to see a photo of the metal clip at the end of the pulley cord. Can you also confirm the number of balances you'd like to order?

Correct I measure 29 7/8".

See attached pictures of pulley system.

Please let me know how much 2 balances will cost.

Thanks,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm afraid this isn't the clip we're looking for. It should be attached at the end of the cord and resemble something like the 62-106, 62-105, or 62-108. It looks like yours may have broken off so we recommend checking the balance on the other side of the window for an intact clip.

Thank you very much! I just wanted to address one more detail that I overlooked, my apologies. Can you show us a side view of the bottom fitting? I want to confirm that it's rivetless so we can get you the right hardware for the job.
