Window balance hardware needed

Question

I have a venal window that is missing everything except the shoes, and I am trying to get it back in working condition. The opening sash is 41wide x 35tall x 1 3/8 thick and weighs 28.6 pounds. Attached are pictures of the shoes, tag, and measurement from the bottom where the sash rests up to the cutout and old screw holes.

Thanks for posting. This shoe looks like our 15-199. If you need new coil balances and don't have the originals on hand, this will get a little tricky. This shoe is compatible with both our Series 160 and Series 165 Coil Springs. The Series 160 Coil Springs are 3/8" wide, whereas the Series 160 Springs are 1/2" wide. I can't really say for sure which will fit your window best. I suggest you try and measure the thickness of the window track. That thickness might be able to tell us which coil spring Series will work for you. You will also need to weigh your window sash; that exact weight of the sash determines the spring weights you need to select for your coil springs.
