Looking at the window again... the hook is in fhe upper side of the windows frame instead of the bottom one. Which it seems to have the balance inverted.
I will apreciate any help identifiying the right and necessary balances.
Thanks.

Hello,

It looks like you have either our S351-28, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or S390-28, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need. You'll also need a 2740 spring strength option for your replacement balances.

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say there is no cutout for the balance hook since these balances look quite old and I'm assuming were installed in the window previously. Could you show us the window jamb, as well as a balance that is still installed on the other side or an identical window? That would show you where the hook would be installed.

Thanks for the prompt response.
Please take a look at the window images, there is no hole for the balance hook and unfortunately the balances are out so I cannot see how they were installed before.
Thanks a lot.

I do see a few cutouts in the sash frame, which may be where the hook installs if the take out clips like our 16-002 sit higher in the channel. In any case, these balances require an opening to install the hook. If you're confident that none of the windows have one and none of them have the original balances still installed, iot's possible that these may not be the correct balances. Unforutnately, we have no way of knowing what would work without seeing the original hardware and how they are installed in the channel. If you haven't already, take a look at our channel balance installation video below.
