Window balance replacement needed

Question

We aren't sure what window balancer replacement part we need but the string on the inside snapped. On the outside of the hardware it reads "25 3 FT CMC 4"

This balance can be replaced with either the S380-26 or the S385-26. To determine which of these balance is the correct replacement, you'll need to confirm the depth of your shoe.
