Window balance and shoe

A quick learner from Virginia says:
Hello,
I have double hung windows and one of the top parts fell down. A piece of the balance shoe broke and fell off at the bottom (pictured). This happened before and I ordered 15-195 T-Lock Balance bottom to replace. It was extremely hard as the shoe didn't fit perfectly (I had to force open/ flatten the balance). I'm thinking it's best to replace the whole balance. Which balance should I order?

Specs:
- Overall balance length: 32in
- Width: 1/2in
- Side width: 1/2in
- Number printed on balance: "32C" & "TG BSIN"

Thank you!

Hello,

We actually do carry a t-lock shoe with a groove in the stem as shown in your photos. Take a look and compare the specifications of the 15-236 to your show.

If you'd prefer to replace the balances entirely, see the S795-32 (32C) but please note that these balances come with a screw tab at the end of the pulley cord used for installation. You'd need to confirm if your original balances used the same screw tab or a hook like the 15-198. Thank you.
