Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. We may be able to help with this. I'll need more information to confirm though. Can you show us a photo of the clip or attachment that's at the end of the pulley cord? We'd like to see how the balance anchors to the pivot shoe. Could you also weigh the window sash on a scale and tell us what you get?

I'm afraid I don't see the clip or attachment. This balance is too damaged, unfortunately. We will need to see an undamaged version as a reference. Let me know if that's something you can get for us.

So this balance has the two ends and at the top of the balance it just clips on to inside channel at the top

The clip we need to see still isn't pictured here. It should be connected at the end of the pulley cord which appears to be broken off from this balance. We especially would like to see how it connects to the pivot shoe. You can use the balance on the other side of the window if it's in good shape.

If I were to guess, you could have something like the 62-105 hook but seeing an undamaged version would be the only way for me to confirm. If that is the case, we can help via custom order. Custom orders are nonrefundable so we just want to make sure we get you the right hardware for the job.

Furthermore, can you confirm the length of the metal channel? It looks to be 24" in your photos but we'd like to be certain. We will also need you to weigh the window sash on a scale and tell us the precise weight.

Your balance having a rivet at the top makes me wonder if you have an S-clip like the 19-030 or 19-029 (sold separately). Take a look at the specifications and let us know if you note any discrepancies.

Thank you! This appears to be the 62-105 hook and 15-208 pivot shoe. We don't have a stock balance that matches your old configuration so this must be a custom order. To outline it for you we'll take the Series 770 and swap the default terminal clip for our 62-105 hook. The metal channel will be 24" long and we'll use the 24B stamp. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 11 to 17 pounds. There will be a rivet in the top hole of the channel balance as well.

With that said, I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link for (4) balances that you can use to place an order on our website. Please note that the S-clips and pivot shoes can't be included in this link so don't forget to add your needed quantity to your cart separately.

I'll be here if you have any questions!
