Window balancer issues

Hello,
My name is Ren, I have some issues with my windows balancer. When I try to open the windows they won't stay up. Also I did some research online and could not find the parts for them. I am not sure is that the spiral balancer or other balancer. Thanks so much!!!

What you have here is the old style crossbow balance. These are unfortunately obsolete, so finding an exact replacement probably won't be possible. The good news is that as long as your spring is 1/2" in diameter, you can use our modern Series 795 as a substitute.

Please note that our balance will not work in your window out of the box. This is a conversion project, meaning you have a bit of work ahead of you if you want these windows functional again. I highly recommend watching the tutorial video below that walks you through the replacement process step by step.

One last thing to consider is that you need an undamaged balance on hand to use as a reference for size. It's not possible to get an accurate read on length when they break as shown in your photos.
