Window balancers

Question

I have windows that need new balancers they are until wonder ful. They appear to be 28 and 1/2 in long and from what I seen on your website the ones I need are discontinued. Can we see about replacing them with something that is available? Thank you, Warren

Yes, you are correct. Your crossbow balance has been discontinued and is no longer made. The good news is that they can potentially be converted to our Series 795 Channel Balances. Specifically, you'll need the S795-28.

To confirm that they will be a situatable replacement, you'll need to obtain a few more measurements from your existing balances. You'll need to double check the diameter of the balance spring/channel. This measurement should be 1/2"; but let me know if it is 3/8" as this will need to be a custom assembly. Please also confirm the width of the bottom T-shaped attachment (it will either be 1" or 1-1/4" across the bottom of the T shape).

The last piece of information you'll need is the exact weight of the sash. You'll need this to select the correct stamp option from the list of options on the chart below the product description.

Also, be mindful, you may need to replace the pivot bar as well.
