Window balances broken

Question

I need to replace 2 broken balances on my window.  They have the markings of 28C on them.  It's a regular slide up and down window, NOT a tilt window.  I have been looking at these, but they all look the same to me, and that's when I came across your web site.  Which would you recommend purchasing.

Thanks for reaching out to us. It appears you have our S380-29 or S385-29 but you'll need to measure as shown in the image below to see which one matches best. The Series 380 has a 1" deep bottom shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep bottom shoe. The stamp on your balance also corresponds to our 2830 spring strength option for a sash weighing 16 to 23 pounds.
