Hello: Your help please to identify this replacement part. I am told it is for a heavy window. Thank you.

Hi Connie. Confirm that your balance's metal channel, not including the nylon attachments, is 28". If so, see either our S380-28 or S385-28. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Once you know which balance to select, you must choose a stamp option. Your stamp code of 27 6 translates to our stamp option of 2760. This is for a window sash in the weight range of 30 through 33 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.

A quick learner from Irvine CA says:
Thanks Bob. Yes, the metal channel is 28" & I was able to determine that the depth of the nylon shoe is 1". Appreciate your help. I will now go ahead & place an older.
