Window channel balance

Question

I need to 4 window channel balance, and l need to replace it. One is stamped 17 9 ds Caldwell, would you help me which series in your list match with my channel balances.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-18 or S385-18 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need since your stamp number is from an outdated weight system. There is a chart on the balance product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.
