Window channel balance

Question

I would like assistance on verifying the replacement window channel balances I will need. Not including the plastic ends the metal is 30" long. Picture 2 in the middle shows the only markings I can see on the part. The metal channel appears to be 9/16" wide slightly larger than 1/2". I can weight the window but would like to know if markings on the unit denote the weight needed (option needed)

Hello,

I agree that your balance looks like a match to the S395-30 with 2940 strength options, which will support a sash between 23-28 pounds. The width of the metal channel measures 9/16" but is considered 1/2" in the trade. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else. Thanks for posting.
