Window channel balance

Question

Hello, I'm looking for a replacement for this channel balance.  its 27" long no including the plastic holder at the top or the cam at the bottom.  it fits a tilt in stanley single hung window.  Thanks, Lou

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your balance looks like a match for the Series 795. The default shoe the balance uses has a closed cam, but you'll need the 15-195B open cam shoe instead. The video below shows how to pop this on and off. Your old stamp may translate to the 27E stamp for a sash weighing 26 to 30 pounds, but you can weigh the window sash to confirm whether it falls within this range.

The plastic holder is strange and isn't something we sell, however. You would have to reuse it, if possible. Also note that the Series 795 uses a screw to install. If yours uses a hook, please let us know.
