Window Balance 28-5 DF5 CMC 54

Hi,
I need to replace a channel balance and need help figuring it which one to get. It is 29" long and the stamp on the side says "28-5 DF5 CMC 54." Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Let's start with the stuff we can be pretty confident about: your balance is, in fact, 29" long and uses a "2850" stamp option. But we also need to identify the balance Series. You can do that yourself using our channel balance ID walkthrough or by sending photos as a response to this post.

Thanks for your reply. I have measured the width to be 9/16", but I am having trouble discerning the differences in the channel balance series otherwise. Are the only differences in the tops and shoes? Are there any other measurements I should take? I have attached some photos.

Thank you for your photos. You are correct, the only difference is the top and bottom balance shoe. You might need our Series 385 channel balance shoe just as long as our 19-005 top attachment and 15-004 balance shoe are the same as what you have. Get back to us and let us know how you made out with this.
