Window channel balance ID

A quick learner from Kingston, Wa says:
Part numbers are too corroded to read. The metal channel is 15 inches long.

Looking for help identifying a replacement. The metal tabs clips in the window channel need to be replaced also.

Hello, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The numbers on the balance determines the spring strength option needed. Since the numbers are not visible, you will need to obtain the weight of the window sash and compare to the strength chart on the product page to determine the correct stamp option.

I believe the metal clips you are referring to may be the take out clip. Start by taking a look at the 16-002 to see how they compare to your originals.

Please review and let me know if you have any additional questions.
