Window channel shoe - plastic

A home owner from Greer, SC says:
The biggest single quality issue I have is with these channel shoes. They are very prone to disconnect from the channel, while simply opening the window! I am hoping that your series 795 assemblies will not be so dependent upon tiny plastic pressure clips.

The curved clip at the top also stresses and breaks off.

Are there options here? Any hardware to attach these shoes more firmly to the channel bar?

Thanks for contacting us. All balances in this style rely on pressure fit clips like this, but it's rarely an issue that they will simply disconnect from the metal channel. It definitely sounds like your shoes are just broken and not working as they should. Now, before you order anything, I would like you to show me a picture of a complete balance. I would also like to know the total width of your bottom shoe. That will allow us to confirm whether or not our Series 795 can work..
