Window coil balance thing

A home owner from Maryland says:

Please help me. Seems all 4 of these things are broken. It's a sash window where both the top and bottom can tilt in to clean. How do I remove them? Are there other parts like something that goes on top part of window that it needs attaching too? Do you have a video on how to remove and install this kind? I'm desperate. Thank you, Teresa

Hi, Teresa.

Your pivot shoe looks like a match for our 15-177 that's designed to use the Series 152 coils but look this over and see if you agree. For new coil covers, see our 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap, and 15-145 barrel. I've also related a few videos on this page that will show you how to replace these types of balances. Let me know if you have any questions!
