Window counterbalance replacement

Quick Learner from South Carolina
The attached picture is a shorter version of what I need. The length of the metal casing of the one I need is 34" long.

Could you help with identifying what I need?

Thanks

Hi Shawn. We're going to need to see any attachments on either side of the balance, as well as the stamp code on the balance you actually need to replace. If you're only going by this shorter balance, you want to make sure it has identical attachments to the one you need to replace; but we need to know the stamp code that is on that specific balance. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us! This looks like a match for our S795-34, except yours has a hook at the top instead of a screw tab. We can supply this configuration, but only as a custom order. There may be a way to sneak around that possibility, though. Can you show me a picture of the slot where the hook goes? That will confirm for us exactly what will work.

Just to be safe, I'd also like to know how many balances you need. Thank you!

Appreciate the quick response. Hope these pictures help. The measurement across the plastic window slide (opposite the hook) measures 1.375.

Thanks

The hook is .25" wide. Roughly slot is .375" long?? Hard to get tape up there.

Ah, it's a square hole. That's good news. That means you don't need a custom made balance--our S795-34 will work as-is, but you'll also need a 26-200 screw plug. This pops right in that square hole and allows you to screw the S795-34 in normally.

Thanks for considering us for your business, and please let me know if you need anything else!
