Window crank replacement needed

Handy Person from Marco Island, Florida
Hi there - the house was built in 1983 and is located in Marco Island, FL. Inside the casing I see the following:
PART # 88202 US
R.H. R.D. 1963 CAN

On your website I see similar looking replacement parts, but I definitely need your help identifying the correct one.

Thanks for your help!

We should be able to replace this, but I cannot tell what you have from this photo. We would need to see a clear photo of the hole pattern and a clear photo of the link arm. In the meantime, you can see our entire selection here.

I've uploaded additional pictures of the link arm and hole. On the Operator the hole is 3/8" (not sure if this is hole you're asking about). Inside the Operator the following is stamped into the metal:
PART # 88202 US
R.H. R.D. 1963 CAN

Hope this helps zero in on the correct replacement! Thanks, Barry

I'm afraid I still can't tell what you have without a clear picture of the link arm. The end of it is still obscured, which is something we'd have to see in order to identify a match. I also can't see your hole pattern from these new photos. I think your best bet would be to look through our awning window operator selection to which I linked you in my original post.

Hi Tom - I'm not sure what a link arm is. I don't see a picture of it in the link you sent me. If you can tell me what it is I'll be happy to get the best picture possible. I did follow the link you originally sent me and I see a few possible replacements: 39-012, 39-017, 39-054, 39-056, 39-058, 39-061, 39-074, 39-084, 39-112, 39-193, 39-252, and many more. That's why I need help. Do these numbers inside the Operator help at all?

I think I figured out what a link arm is. Please see the attached picture. The length is 6.5". The hole where it attaches to the window is 3/8" in diameter. It attaches to the window with an E-ring. The length of the arm extension is 2.375". The manufacturer (based on Google searches) might be Crown or Tucker. I hope this helps zero in on the replacement Operator. Thanks!

Yep, that's the link arm. I'm still not sure about the hole pattern, though. That's the other important detail we need to narrow it down. Based on just the link arm style, our 39-258 and 39-259 are similar. Look these over and see what you think.

I think we have a winner! The 39-259 sure looks exactly the same, and all measurements match up perfectly. Yay! The side of the Operator that faces the window looks slightly different than what I have. But, again - all the hole dimensions line up perfectly. Best way to make sure is to buy it and try - and that's what I'll do right now. If it does work, I have other left and right handle Operators in the house that I'll replace (before they break too). Thanks for hanging in there with me! Barry
