We have this on a slider window. Cannot open window without this attached. The windows are about 5 years old.

The part you're showing us almost looks like a latch cover. Can you confirm whether or not this information is accurate? If so, see if our 90-253 will work.

Before doing that, could we see a photo of your latch mechanism? We just want to make certain this latch cover can be used with your current mechanism.

I think that is the one. The window is an Anderson window. How do I order this part..

I think you are on the right path. The window color is tan.

Thank you for getting back to us with these photos. I can't guarantee the 90-253 cover will work with your current mechanism. There may be a possibility you will have to replace the mechanism as well, but I can't be sure. Have a look at our 90-252 latch mechanism and see what you think.
