Home Owner from Jackson, Michigan

Not sure what these are called bu I need several of these assemblies. These are in my parents manufactured home made by Hart homes which are now out of business. They bought the home new in 2001.

Any hepl you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for writing in. This is an old block & tackle balance that isn't made anymore, but we can replace it with one of our tilt window channel balances. I can't say which one you need exactly without seeing the attachment at the bottom of your balance. See the video below. If your old balance as the crossbow style t-lock shoe at the bottom, then you can replace it with a Series 795 Channel Balance as explained in the video. Otherwise, view other possible replacements in our tilt window channel balance section here. Show us pictures of the bottom attachment if you're uncertain.

If you have these or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I have attached three pictures that I hope will help.

Thanks

Hi Mark. Yep, this confirms it! As I suspected, this is an old crossbow-type balance that can be replaced by our Series 795 Channel Balance. The video above will detail you on how to replace the old balance. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much for your help. This saved us the cost of new windows. Aside from these outdated and non working channel balances the windows are in great shape. Replacement parts have been ordered from your company.

Once again

Thank you very much
