Window lock jammed

A handy person from Tucson, Arizona says:
Window lock jammed and will not release to open. Want see if this is a cover and will pop off to access the lock to remove and replace.

Hello,

The first parts that come to mind are our 90-253 cover and 90-252 latch mechanism but I'm not sure if they will work for your window. Carefully compare the specifications shown on our product pages to your hardware and see what you think. 

Since it doesn't look like your cover has installation holes to keep it in place, I suspect that it is pressure fit and could be popped off using something like a putty knife, but I can't be sure. Thanks for posting!
