Window operator identifier

I recognize this part. This is an old discontinued operator style that is no longer made. We cannot supply either version you have, but we have some substitutes you may want to consider. Look at our 39-220 and 39-221 for the hinge type arm and our 39-027E and 39-028E for the straight type arm. 

Now, I cannot guarantee that either will work, and even if they could it would require adaptation of the sill to fit the new base. I've never done it myself, so I cannot confirm if it will work one way or the other. However we have no other solution, so if these won't work then I don't know what will. Sorry we couldn't offer anything better!

I couldn't tell you! I wish I could, but sometimes window manufacturers make choices that baffle even me. It would definitely make my job easier if they stuck to one kind of part. 15 years is honestly a pretty vast span of time in this industry; you'll often see three different lines of products within the same period. 

If I had to guess then I'd say that they'd rather you replace the entire window instead of just the individual parts. Replacing the entire window costs a lot of money while replacing the individual parts is relatively inexpensive. I'm sure you can guess which method they'd prefer. 

The good news is, companies like us exist to help you replace the small parts. The bad news is, even we have trouble keeping up with all the changes the manufacturers make. We do our best, but there are unavoidable limits. I do think the parts I suggested are worth considering but there are no guarantees. I'm very sorry we cannot offer you an easier solution. 

I'm afraid they do not. You will need to adapt the sill to fit the new base. That would be the only way you can get these parts to work, and even then I cannot guarantee that they will.
