have double hung Reynolds
Windows American Classic .
I need the part in the picture. It fits in the frame on both sides. It is a part that attaches to the window spiral tilt balance and allows the window pin to enter and connect to it. As you can see the round part where the pin enters is keyway like because the pin has a notch in it.
The following info was on the purchase brochure: SER#6000 DH ID# 00808280
02/04/98 S.O.# 00441740
It is approx. 1 3/8? to 1 ½?wide and approx 2? high
Do you have this part? I would need at least 6.
Thank you
Mark

Many Reynold windows have been known to use a 15-046 pivot shoe, which is 1-1/4" wide by 1/2" thick. Please compare this to your part to see if they match up. You might also want to consider a charging tool like our 75-006. You'll need to disconnect the spiral balance from the old shoe and reconnect it to the new one and this tool could make that easier. It's up to you. I've also related some videos and guides you may find helpful. |
