Window pivot bar

Question

Hi! I have two broken pivot bars and trying to find a replacement. The piece/bar that goes into the pivot when placing the window into the frame has snapped off. I ordered part 26-125, but it juuuust barely doesnt fit. There is a slot in the window that the pivot bar slides over when placing the pivot bar into the window that is just a centimeter too big for piece 26-125. Any suggestions? Not sure if this helps but the old pivot bar has patent no.4926524 inscribed on it. Thanks!!

Can you please provide a photo of the end of the sash where this pivot bar installs? It will help to see why the pivot bar isn't installing.
