Window pivot lock

Question

I believe this is a window pivot lock, but I have no way of telling what kind of window I have. I've looked everywhere for an etching or label. No dice. The off-white part (not counting the spring) is 1.5" high and 1.25" wide. It is from a double hung house window. The only piece I really need is the broken metal collar-like thing. Can you help?

Don't worry; even if you found a marking on your window, it wouldn't tell you what your balance is. This is a generic part used by tons and tons of different window manufacturers.

Your pivot shoe looks like a match for our 15-177, which is designed to be used with the Series 152 spring. Look these parts over and let me know what you think.
