Window question

First time replacing any type of window balance. The issue here is the window started becoming hard to open then one day it opened easily but just slams down if you let it. The balances are spiral and 31 inches long. The tips are red but look to be recessed in the tube. Not sure if they should be like that. Looking to replace whatever is needed to include the parts the spiral attaches to. Also will need the tool for tilt out window. Thank you.

Hello,

The #530C stamped pivot shoe shown in your last photo was discontinued, but the 15-046 could work if the width and thickness shown below match yours.

 As for the spiral balance. I'd suggest taking a look at the S600-31 with red tips. This looks like a match, but make sure to confirm the 5/8" diameter of the housing tube matches yours. Thanks for posting!
