Window replacement parts

Question

The metal flat channel balance is 28 inches.  The bottom piece is like picture attached. Window won't stay open.  It falls. I am not sure what I need to fix it. Please help. Windows are too expensive to replace the whole thing. Thank

You definitely don't need to replace the whole window. If it falls down after you open it, then the problem is the balance. You should consider our Series 795 as a replacement. This has the same style shoe you show in your photo.
