The metal channel measures 27 inches. Not sure what weight to order. The channel is stamped 26-5. I beleave this is a 795 balance.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. This is indeed a match for the S795-27. Can you tell us if the balance uses a hook or a screw to install to the top of the window track? We will also need the sash weight to confirm the correct stamp option.

Note that the Series 795 comes with the 15-195 closed cam shoe by default. If your shoe has an open cam, see the 15-195B, which is sold separately. This can be popped onto the balance as shown in the video below.

It attaches at the top with a screw. Does the 26-5 stamped on the channel indicate the weight? If not I will have the pull the sash back out this evening to weight. Thank, Tim

I weighed the sash today and it is 17 lbs. Also I do have the open cam shoe.

Thank you! Our balance also uses a screw for installation, so the Series 795 would be our pick. You can also use the 27B (11 to 17 pounds) or 27C (17 to 22 pounds) stamp option. Either option should work as long as the sash weight is 17 pounds.
