Window shoe

A home owner from North Wildwood, NJ says:
Hi,

I purchased many of the "blue" window shoes to replace bad ones in my windows with success. Recently I took the old ones out in another one of my windows shown in the picture and replaced it with the new "blue" one. It fits but it seems a little snug. The old one measures 1 3/16" wide. I believe the new blue one is about 1 1/4" wide. What model would you suggest to replace the old one in the picture?

Thanks, Kevin

Pivot shoes in this style are either 1-1/4" or 1" wide; there are none we list at 1-3/16". That said, I do suspect this is the wrong shoe because the style is slightly off. Can you tell me the width of the shoe? That should determine which you need. The thickness of the 15-015 is 17/32", so it's possible you need something slightly less thick. Let me know and we'll go from there.

A home owner from North Wildwood, NJ says:
Hi Bob,

Thanks for getting back to me. I measured the "old" pivot shoe and it kind of varies in thickness but the thickest part of the shoe is 1/2".
So that makes the old shoe 1/32" less in thickness than the new "blue" ones I have.

Thanks for getting back to me. The 15-046 is 1-1/4" wide and 1/2" thick. If those dimensions on your old shoe are correct, then I believe this might be what you need.
