Window slider hooks to tensioner spring - broken

A quick learner from Hendersonville, North Carolina says:
The plastic (about 1 1/2 inch long) V-shaped part that slides into the tensioner spring, on side of window, has broken . Windows are hard to open & wont stay open.
We need 4 of these now, but should probably get 10 for future possible breaks.
Windows are 12 years old & came with a log cabin kit.

Thanks for posting. This looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. I'm not quite certain what you mean by V-shaped part. Do you mean the T-Lock Shoe that inserts into the bottom of your channel balance? In that case, take a look at our 15-195 1-1/4" Closed Cam T-Lock Shoe, the 15-195B 1-1/4" Open Cam T-Lock Shoe, or the 15-194 1" T-Lock Shoe. See which of these three shoes most closely matches your old part. If you need something else, or have any other questions, just let us know. Many thanks.

Hi, back in NC & I think you are right.
... but which one? I have removed a couple of the broken parts. (See photos)

Thanks for your help

This looks like a 15-195B Open Cam Shoe. You can tell because you can see 'through' the cam to the other side, whereas in a closed cam shoe there is a wall in the back of the cam. If you need to replace your balances as well, just provide us the length of the metal channel, a picture of any stamp code on the metal channel, and also a photo of how the balance attaches to the top of the window track.
