These sash balances are very basic. Behind my jamb liners are two springs attached at the top, one for the upper window and one for the lower. The springs clip on to the top of the jamb liner, and a plastic slide is clipped on at the other end. The plastic slide pieces have broken in nearly every window.
My photos shows two of the springs removed, and the broken slide piece (broken piece missing the plastic 'hook' to loop into the other end of the spring.
There are pins in the base of each window that fit into the plastic sliding pieces.

We can supply the friction shoe itself, which is a match for our 15-104. Unfortunately, we aren't able to supply the spring. If you do need that, then you'll need an entirely new jamb liner. I recommend contacting the original manufacturer of the window.
