Hello there! Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm not sure what you may be referring to. Can you upload photos on this page? You can also email them to help@swisco.com with the reference number D323181.

Is this possible to replace for a novice or do I need a new window?

You don't need to replace the whole window if this part is the only thing that's broken. The replacement process isn't difficult if you're up to the task. See the videos below. The first one features a different pivot shoe but the process is essentially the same. The second video will go over how to make a cut-out in the window track so that you can remove the hardware.

As for the pictured hardware, our 15-177 looks to be a good match. This is designed to use the Series 152 springs but you can reuse your old ones if they're in working order.

I'll be here if you have any questions.
