Window will not close properly

A quick learner from Toronto, Ontario, CA says:
My window will not close properly after I open it. I need to replace a part but do not know which part needs replacing. Could it be the one with the teeth ? I am attaching a photo.

Please respond as soon as possible as winter is on its way and I would like it fixed before the snow flies.

Hello! Your operator looks like it could be a match for either our 39-253LB or 39-438B, depending on the design of the guide at the end of the arm. That detail is obscured in your photo so I unfortunately cannot determine that for you. The video guide below will go into more detail and help you pick the better match.

Regardless of which one you choose, you will also need the 39-451 cover/handle kit.
