Need to identify the parts I need to replace. Coils on both sides seem fine may just have disconnected from the balance. I am pulling them out tomorrow just want to get a head start if I need to replace any of them.

Your coil housing can be replaced with the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot. This is compatible with the Series 180 Coil Balance which is anchored in the window channel using the 16-024 Mounting Bracket.

To confirm the right replacement coil for your assembly, you'll need to look for a stamp/marking on the coil. If there aren't any, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide that by the total number of coils in the window. For example, if the sash weighs 12lbs, you would need the S160-06 coils to complete the replacement assemblies.

How is the coil balance connected to the pivot shoe exactly?

The housing is made of two nylon pieces that snap together around the coil.

Once you've received the hardware, please don't hesitate to reach out if you get stuck.
