Window will not stay up

Question

I have several of these windows throughout the house. Three of them will not stay up.
Picture shows the type of spiral devise that is suppose to keep them from dropping.
Could you help me fix this.

It's hard to tell exactly what you have based on these pictures, but I can tell that you have tilt window spiral balances. I recommend looking at this section to determine what you have. I also recommend watching the video below.
