Hi I need a replacement part for my window. When I crank the crank it works fine until the very end where it just slips and won't close. There seems to be some teeth on the gear that are worn down that perhaps is leading to this slipping.

Thanks for reaching out to us! It sounds like the gears on the inside of your casement operator are stripped, so you'll need to replace the entire operating mechanism. This crank looks similar to either the 39-253RB or the 39-439B Encore Dual Arm Operator. To determine which of these is the correct fit for you repairs you'll need to take note of the differences.
