WindowMaster Replacement Parts

Quick Learner
Looking for WindowMaster replacement crank (4) I know that at least one of the the plastic pieces that is in a channel inside the track in the window that accepts the nib on the arm is broken/missing

Hi there!

We should be able to help with this. I just can't identify the operator from these photos. I would need you to open the window and show us a bird's eye view of the entire assembly, especially the arms.

If all you need is the handle then I recommend you take a look at the 39-114L which is designed to fit an 11/32" spline.

These will do just fine, thank you! It looks like you have either the 39-439B or 39-253RB operators. The difference between the two is the design of the guide at the end of the arm. The video below will go over precisely what I mean.

Thank you for the video. I have never seen either the one or two hole item. I do know that a white plastic part that looks like an eyelet used to sit in the track of the window frame and accept the nib on the window operator. I hope this helps.

Also, regarding the crank mechanism the gears inside are all ground up and the crank doesn't turn any of the parts inside

It sounds like your operator is stripped so you would need a new one. I'm just not familiar with the white plastic part you're referring to though. Could you show me a photo of that?

Ok, here is what it looks like from below

Thanks for the additional photos. This resembles the 39-529 to me. As long as the specifications match up with yours then you should be good to go!

You're very welcome! I'm happy to help. Good luck with the repair; I'll be here if you need anything else!

I believe the gears inside this housing are all stripped. It is also possible that the gears that the handcrank operate are also stripped.

If that's the case then you would need a new operator.

Quick Learner
Ok great! Are you able to tell me what operator I need based on the images that are in this string?

Is this the same window as shown in your original batch of photos? If so, they should have the same operator that we identified previously. If not, we'll need to see a photo of your operator with the window open so that the arms that move the sash are fully visible.

Quick Learner
Can you please just reiterate that operator number? I don't want to make any assumptions

Sure, the operator we identified in your photos was the 39-253RB which uses the 39-529 track slider (sold separately). The 39-253LB would be for the opposite side.

Quick Learner
OK got it. For some reason I was thinking that there were other parts inside the crank housing that were different than those. Thank you for the clarification!
