Windows do not stand up

Question

These old windows are fine. But the Balancer does not work. Old style. Manufacturer and brand not known.

Where can I find a part and is there a video that shows how to replace these?

We'd be happy to help but we'll need a bit more information to get started. We carry a few spiral balances for non-tilt windows that use similar end fittings to yours. I'd recommend starting by comparing the specifications of the 15-010 and 15-012 shown below to your fitting. Let us know if one of them matches yours.

We'll also need to confirm if the diameter of the housing tube that the spiral extends from measures 3/8" or 5/8". Thank you!
