Spiral Balance Shoe

These old windows are fine. But the Balancer does not work. Old style. Manufacturer and brand not known. Where can I find a part and is there a video that shows how to replace these?

We are in search of the swivel balance replacement parts for some very old aluminum windows in our apartment complex. These apartments were built in the 1970's and we are slowly replacing the windows but still have quite a few of these older ones. The length we need is 24"

Please see attached. the tip is white, and the length of the pipe is 29". On the side of the shoe it says: S.B.1 Please help identify parts I need.

I have removed the spiral rod. It's has a red tip. However it's not connected to any shoe which appears to be still in the window pane. Can I assume it's broken off since you sell the spiral with the shoe already attached? I'd probably have to find a way to fish the broken one out first, right? Ro ... (cont.)
