I have two windows (side by side) that will not stay up. I do find it odd that both are failing at the same time. Anyway, I have included photos. The bands are 1/2" wide . The top band has "CL" and the bottom has "B" stamped. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. The pivot shoe shown here looks like the 15-177. Your old springs aren't compatible with this shoe so you'll need the Series 152 coil balances. The springs are screwed to the side of the shoe with a screw like the 33-072. You'll have to weigh the window sash and divide the weight by the total number of springs in the window to determine the proper spring weights.

If you need new coil supports, see the 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap, and 15-145 barrel.

Let me know if you have any questions!
