Wood Casement Crank and Hardware

Contractor from Massachusetts
Hello, The pics are from an Andersen all wood casement.  I need one replacement arm opener set. At the end of the arm is a steel circle that runs inside a 14" track attached to the bottom of window.  Arm is approx 8-1/2" and does not fold.  I also need  7 operating cranks for the same opener in bronze/brown.  Thank you for your help!

Hello,

Thanks for writing in! This Andersen casement operator is no longer made but we have two solutions that may work for the repair. Bear in mind, either option could require significant modifications to the wood trim and sill. There are no guarantees either solution will work but they are well worth considering.

The first option is to use the 39-365 9-1/2" Single Arm Operator (only available in a white finish). Its opposite version is the 39-366. The wheel at the end of the arm fits into either the 39-504 SS 13-3/4" Channel Guide or the 39-520 13-1/2" Operator Track.

This may be the best option, since the 39-504 seems to install the same way as the existing track, but you'll need to double check.

The second option is to use the 39-020 Wood Window Crank. The opposite version is the 39-021. The existing track isn't likely to be compatible, so you'd need to use the 39-520 13-1/2" Operator Track.

These are available in light bronze.
