Some more information:There was a plastic housing over the spring that broke off, if that helps.
Is there any replacement for the shoes? Will 15-046 work? They are a little taller than the original (1 5/8" vs 2"), but the thickness and width are identical.

The 15-046 will not work for you because the cam is a different size. That means your pivot bar won't fit properly, preventing you from installing your sash.
Assuming that the width and thickness are at least identical, then you could consider our 15-135. This is 1/2" thick x 1-1/4" wide and is made to work with the same kind of balance and the same kind of pivot bar. Height doesn't matter that much. Look it over and see what you think.
