awning window operator replacement

Question

I have a few windows where the operator is not working well or the inside is stripped so it won't crank. I need the operator and also the crank but have no idea what kind it is or what I can use to replace it.

I believe you have an older style Andersen operator. I'm not sure if this is still available anywhere. That said, take a look at the 39-389 long arm or the 39-390 short arm operator. See if you could adapt one of these to your window.
