balace springs and locks

Question

Hello, I have attached pictures of the balance springs. I am looking for two 19" balace springs, along with the plastic balance attachments and 2 takeout clips as pictured above. I am also looking for the window lock, shown in the picture, black.

Hi Jennifer,

The top guide on your balance appears to be wingless but it is difficult to determine from the angle in the photo. May I see a photo of it from a front facing view? I'll also need to know the stamp from the metal channel on the balance. This helps to determine the weight range the balances should be able to support.

Your take out clip reminds me of either the 16-002 Take Out Clip (1/4" wide) or the 16-034 Large Take Out Clip (1/2" wide). They each have the same length but you'll need to measure the width of your clip to confirm the right replacement.

The lock on the sash can likely be replaced with the 90-313 Deep-set Sash Lock. It is available in black or white. Take a look and see if this is the right fit.
