balance shoe

A home owner from Winston-Salem, NC says:
I need to purchase a few balance shoes for my wooden double-hung windows. I cannot identify the brand of anything on these windows, so sorry about that--no help. But I took pictures of the shoe. One that's still inside the vinyl jambliner and still intact, and one outside the jambliner that has broken where the spring attaches. Can help me identify or get new balance shoes for these? I've got about half a dozen of these shoes that need to be replaced that broke in the same manner.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi Ken. I believe it's safe to assume that you are in need of our 15-014 friction shoe. To replace these shoes, you will need to remove the jamb liners and slide the shoe in the track and hook on the spring. Let us know if this information is useful to you.
