balance stuck on pgt window

Question

can sgl hung pgt window be removed if one sash balance is stuck all the way to the top and can I not get it to move back down ? I need to get window removed to repair or replace the balance !

Thank you for reaching out to us. The sash may be misaligned in the window track. First, try to center the sash so that it is even on both sides. Then, lower the sash until you can see the 16-002 take-out clips. Remove the clips, and then raise the sash to disengage it. Let us know if this helps.
