balance with a roller in the shoe

I have two different channel balances (only different in length. The first is 15 long and 1/2 wide. The second is 21 long and 1/2 inch wide. I am not positive on the ends as far as identifying them correctly. I would greatly appreciate your help I am sending pictures. I need two of each.

Hello,

We can provide the balances you need but we would like to see a photo of an undamaged clip shown at the end of your pulley cord in the second photo to confirm the correct replacement.

We'll also need to know the stamps printed on the 15-5/8" and 21-5/8" metal channels. Thank you!

Good morning, I am hoping you can provide some type of instructions for installation. I realize these have been made special, but am assuming you have video links that give the basics? Unfortunately someone had already removed these from the window as usually we would just pay attention when removing. Also can you provide an idea of time it takes to install. I understand expertise and ability play a roll. Also is there a part that comes with these that attaches to the window frame? I have watched a few videos and want to make sure we are getting everything needed to install. Thank you, Leana

I'm glad to hear you reviewed the videos on the removal and installation of the common side load balances. To install these new window balances, you should be able to remove the sashes since the handyman already removed the original balances.

To install the new window balances, pop out the take-out clip, 16-002, with your fingernail. Then, hook the bottom clip, 62-108, into the hole of the window sash. It should be near the center of the window. Pull down slightly on the channel balance and place the top under the 16-002 take-out clip. Repeat this process on the other side.

Now, bring the sash above the bottom balance shoe and push one side of the sash over the balance. Then you'll swing the other side of the sash over and bring the sash down until it locks onto the balance. Lastly, push in the take-out clips and try operating the sash.
