bathroom bay window part
Thanks for posting! The part you are searching for is called an operator. Unfortunately, once that socket is stripped, it cannot be repaired. Therefore, you'll need an all new mechanism.
We can help with a replacement recommendation but we have to see it removed from the window. If it is difficult to open then window, an operator from a similar window will help.
Thank you
Warren
It appears your operator is a sill mount operator. It has a style base similar to our 39-031 or our 39-035 but these are only two of many different examples of operators. You could have any one of them.
If you are unable to open the window or you're not comfortable, that is understandable. In that case, your best option may be to have a local professional come out to assist with the installation.
I suggest starting with our awning operator, part 39-140. It does differ from yours slightly but it might be worth considering. Carefully review and compare the measurement to determine if it might work for you.
Dual arm crank 39-140 Will I need all accessories to install crank what is total price. Ty. Warren
If the other parts are still in working condition, you may not need to replace them but you will need to discern that. In my personal experience, it is best to replace everything at one time so that you don't have to worry about it later. I've noticed that when certain parts start to expire, the others can follow suit shortly after.
With that being said, the compatible crank handle for this operator is part 39-114L and your bracket appears to be similar to our 39-170.
